Nauheed Cyrusi Opens Up on Film Hiatus, Says ‘Intimate Scenes Cost Me Work’
Nauheed Cyrusi: Nauheed Cyrusi recently opened up about why she's been away from the big screen for so long. She spoke openly about the harsh realities of the film industry. Find out what she had to say.
Nauheed Cyrusi, who is known for playing the movie “Anwar,” has not taken part in any movies for some time now. Her fans keep questioning her regarding her upcoming movies, and she has revealed it. Furthermore, she revealed an unpleasant truth about the movie industry.
In one of her posts dated 4th May on Instagram, she revealed everything in a video post. In the video, she was seen applying skincare and responding to a fan's message, asking, "Do you have any upcoming films or shows?"
She clarified that this is the most frequently asked question, and now she wants to answer it directly. Nauheed explained that there are certain expectations while working in the industry that make her uncomfortable. She said that when signing contracts, it's assumed that actors will have no problem doing kissing or intimate scenes, but that's not the case.
She said, "It's great to work in the film industry these days, but there's one thing that's included in the contract: you have to be completely comfortable with kissing and intimate scenes. I feel like these scenes are added unnecessarily these days. And to be honest, I don't think we look good kissing on screen. I don't know why, maybe they don't know how to shoot it properly."
She further explained that this mindset has caused her to suffer in her career. She said, "Sometimes, I'm rejected before I even get to say yes or no, because I say I'm not comfortable with kissing scenes."
She continued, "I wasn't one of those people who hung out with actors or producers. I had a full life outside of acting. That's why I often suffered. I only got small roles like someone's sister or someone's sister-in-law. But I decided I didn't want to do that kind of work. It's better not to work than to do such roles."
She continued, "Then I realized that Instagram was my true path. I'm glad I found you, and you found me."
