Ishita Dutta, Vatsal Sheth Steal Quiet Coffee Date
Ishita Dutta and Vatsal Sheth share a quiet coffee date after a stressful week of their son’s hospitalisation, calling small moments the ones needed most.
Mumbai, Aug 5 — Actors Ishita Dutta and Vatsal Sheth stole a quiet coffee date amid the stress of their son’s recent hospitalisation, sharing a relaxed moment after a difficult week.
Ishita took to her social media account to post a selfie with Vatsal at a café. The couple appeared stress-free as they held mugs of coffee with a plate of snacks on the table. Ishita wore a beige striped outfit while Vatsal kept it casual in a pastel blue sweatshirt and cap.
She captioned the photograph: “Sometimes, the smallest dates are the ones you need the most. Finally, after a month of chaos, a little time just for us.”
The post came shortly after Ishita updated fans about their son’s health. Sharing a picture from the hospital on Monday evening that showed the child with an IV cannula on his hand, she revealed that the past week had been extremely difficult.
“This past week has been a tough one. Monsoons bring their own set of illnesses, and it was heartbreaking to see so many little ones in the hospital, including my baby. Grateful that he’s doing much better now. Thank you so much for all your love, prayers, and wishes. They truly mean a lot,” she wrote.
Before the health scare, Ishita had been travelling across India on a solo journey exploring the country’s cultural and spiritual heritage. She documented experiences from cities including Jaipur, Agra, Lucknow, Kashi and Varanasi. During the trip she also missed their son Vayu’s birthday and shared an emotional note expressing guilt over not being with him on his special day.
Ishita and Vatsal’s relationship began on the sets of the television show Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar. After dating for a few years, they married in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai on November 28, 2017. They welcomed their son Vayu in July 2023 and their daughter Veda in June 2025.
The coffee-date post offered a brief, private interlude for the couple after a period of concern over their child’s health.
