Imtiaz Ali expressed his opinion on completing 20 years in the industry, also spoke about Alia

Director Imtiaz Ali introduced himself to the world with the film 'Socha Na Tha' (2005). Imtiaz Ali is completing 20 years in cinema this year. His journey has been simply wonderful. In the course of his journey, he made films like 'Jab We Met', 'Highway' and 'Rockstar'.

Hindustan Times has quoted Imtiaz Ali as saying, 'It is like running in a dream. I never expected to reach here. I still cannot believe that I am here. I cannot believe that I am doing such good work and I am getting paid for it. I am the luckiest person on earth. Because I have got support from other people in the film industry.'

It is interesting that Imtiaz Ali's 'Highway' has been released in theaters on March 7. Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt are in this film. Talking about this, Imtiaz Ali said that an experienced actress was going to replace Alia Bhatt in Highway. But when I met her, I felt that Alia had the ability to do it and she did it in a fun way. I was getting a person who has emotional depth and is very young. This is how the casting happened.

According to him, everyone was excited. I was already making 'Tamasha'. However, Ranbir Kapoor told me to make Highway before Tamasha, because I got time in between.
