Sanna aims to break stereotypes and introduce a first-of-its-kind event that fuses the adrenaline of international boxing with the elegance of high fashion.
The ambitious project was unveiled at a press conference held at The Club, Mumbai, where Sanna introduced the concept and revealed the face of the event, Taher Khuram, a top-ranking heavyweight boxer from Afghanistan, currently ranked No. 2 in India and No. 1 in his division in Afghanistan.
said Sanna. “Boxing and fashion might seem worlds apart, but both are about power, discipline, and presence. This event will show how strength and style can coexist in the same ring.”
Sanna emphasized that this fusion format has never been attempted in India, and the event will feature international boxers, dramatic fashion elements, and a red-carpet-like atmosphere. “Expect the unexpected,” she added, hinting at celebrity appearances and stunning visuals.
Taher Khuram, speaking to the press, expressed deep gratitude to India, which he now considers home.
“I get immense respect here. I’m married to an Indian woman, and I carry both countries with pride when I step into the ring,” he said. “I’m ready to face the best in the world and make both India and Afghanistan proud.”
