Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has been in over 540 movies through his four decades-long acting career. He rose to fame after playing the role of an old father in the 1984 film "Saaransh" at the age of 28. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2004 and the Padma Bhushan in 2016. He has shared a post on films today.

Anupam Kher shared a photo on his Instagram handle, in which his age is clearly visible. Anupam captioned the photo, "A face that has lived life to the fullest. I've been acting for over 55 years. I've spent over 50 of those years as a professional actor."

Anupam further wrote, "During this long journey, something gradually changes. Not just in your acting, but in your face as well. An actor's face gradually becomes more than just a face. It becomes a treasure. Even the smallest facial movement speaks volumes. Even the slightest raise of the eyebrows holds a memory. The pause between two expressions holds a lifetime of experiences."

Anupam further wrote, "You don't add these things intentionally. They come naturally, quietly, over the years. The reason is that 'lived experience.'" The characters you play, the people you meet, the emotions you pick up from others, and the emotions you feel yourself-all of this gradually settles on your face.

"Khosla Ka Ghosla 2," the highly anticipated sequel to the cult classic, will hit theaters on August 28, 2026. Anupam, Boman Irani, Ranvir Shorey, and Parvin Dabas are returning. This time, the story will explore property disputes and middle-class aspirations in a new and fun way.
