Dilip Joshi celebrates 18-year journey of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, thanks Asit Kumar Modi
Newsmakers Awards 2026: Actor Dilip Joshi has been entertaining audiences for many years through the TV serial 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.' Singer Hariharan has also sung memorable songs. Both actors have been honored with the Newsmakers Awards 2026.
Actors Dilip Joshi, singer Hariharan, and chef Sanjeev Kapoor received their awards at the 18th Newsmakers Awards 2026. The award-winning actors thanked the event organizers for the awards and shared their experiences till date. Dilip Joshi appeared very excited on receiving the awards.
Speaking to ANI during the awards event, Dilip Joshi thanked his show's producer Asit Kumar Modi. He said, "I thank my producer for giving me the opportunity to play the character of Jethalal. Our serial is now about to complete 18 years." It still remains in the top 10.
Dilip Joshi further says, "No matter what field you work in or what religion you follow, if you continue to embrace spirituality and believe in divine power, you will achieve a different kind of success."
Singer Hariharan was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Newsmakers Awards 2026. After receiving this award, he spoke about his music. He said, "There are many types of music. In fact, as long as music entertains you, it does its job. If even 10 people are happy after listening to that music, that's a big thing. That's why I say that music is energy. It's a positive energy. It should reach people."
In addition to Hariharan, renowned chef Sanjeev Kapoor was also honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 18th Newsmakers Awards. The awards were organized by Vaidehi Taman on May 1st. Governor of Maharashtra, Jishnu Dev Varma attended the event as the chief guest.
