Priyanka Chopra Hints at Collaboration With Angelina Jolie, Calls 'Varanasi' Her Most Ambitious Film

Priyanka Chopra has established herself as a global sensation, having started off in Bollywood and then moved on to Hollywood. At present, she is in the news owing to her next movie, which is called Varanasi. This is going to be a very ambitious movie, and Priyanka has high hopes from it. Apart from Priyanka, another actor who will feature in this S.S. Rajamouli movie is Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

During an interview with Fortune India in regards to her future plans, Priyanka Chopra mentioned that she will be working with Angelina Jolie. Priyanka did not clarify whether she meant movie, advertisement, or any other project. One thing which was clear was that Priyanka had Angelina Jolie among Hollywood actresses whom she admires.

Priyanka Chopra is currently shooting the final schedules of S.S. Rajamouli's film 'Varanasi'. She has described this as the biggest and most ambitious project of her career. She said, "What we are attempting to do is massive and ambitious. We haven't seen work like this in a long time. I feel incredibly excited and honored-not just for India, but for the entire world-because this will be a major global release, and people will finally see what we have been working on for the past three years."

Priyanka Chopra also spoke about the evolution of her career. Speaking about her life while shooting in Hyderabad, she said, "The atmosphere on the set of the film 'Varanasi' is very fun. All the actors have their families with them. We are having a great time, laughing and chatting. At the same time, we are fully focused on the work; rehearsals and the work itself are proceeding with great concentration." Reflecting on the progress of her career over the years, the 'Desi Girl' acknowledged that she now enjoys greater creative freedom in her work. She remarked, "When I started out, scripts weren't written with me in mind. Now, I can choose and create my own projects." On the international front, Priyanka Chopra is also associated with filmmaker Mira Nair's biopic drama, 'Amri'.
