Suniel Shetty: ‘Excitement, Tension and Nervousness Are Always There’ Before a Film’s Release
Suniel Shetty: Despite a career spanning nearly 30 years and over 100 films, actor Suniel Shetty says that the nervousness felt before a film's release has not vanished. Here is what he had to say.
Prior to the premiere of his upcoming movie, Welcome to the Jungle, Suniel Shetty stated that the anxiety and tension regarding the performance of the film in terms of box-office returns remain as much as ever.
Speaking to ANI, Suniel Shetty remarked that a film's success largely depends on its box office collection. He said, "Everything is linked to it. You could be at the top one Friday and not the next. That is why the excitement, tension, and nervousness are always there."
Suniel added, "This film has a fantastic star cast-Akshay, Paresh-ji, Johnny-bhai, Arshad, Tusshar, Shreyas, Daler-paji, and many other artists. Working with such talented people provides a sort of safety net."
Suniel further stated, "The film is very entertaining. I cannot say whether it is good or bad, because everyone has a different perspective. We really enjoyed it when we watched the film. However, when the audience watches it on Friday, their perspective might be completely different."
The film 'Welcome to the Jungle' is set to release on June 26. Apart from Akshay and Suniel Shetty, the film features Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Aftab Shivdasani, Mukesh Tiwari, Yashpal Sharma, Kiran Kumar, Zakir Hussain, and Vindu Dara Singh. Apart from them, several other actors are also part of this film.
