Choreographer Ranju Varghese talks about working with Ajay-Vaani in Raid 2, says 'relationship with Ajay is like home'
Raid 2: Famous choreographer Ranju Varghese has done excellent choreography of two songs, 'Kamale' and 'Tumhe Dillagi', with Ajay Devgan and Vaani Kapoor in 'Raid 2'. Now he shared his experience of working with Ajay and Vaani.
Famous choreographer of Bollywood, Ranju Varghese, once again sets out to share his art magic with star Ajay Devgan. In the movie 'Raid 2' coming up this week, Ranju has choreographed two lovely numbers 'Kamale' and 'Tumhe Dillagi' that make the movie more special. Ajay Devgan and Vaani Kapoor are featured in these numbers and Ranju's choreography has aptly showcased the feelings of both of their characters.
'Kamale' is a romantic travel song, which has been filmed amidst the beautiful views of Rajasthan. Ranju has brought Ajay and Vaani's chemistry alive on screen through her smooth and soulful choreography in this song. This song depicts the story of love and passion. On the other hand, 'Tumhe Dillagi' is an emotional love song, which is shot in a festival atmosphere. The choreography of this song shows themes like trust, greed and hidden truth in the film. Ranju's choreography made both the songs not only beautiful to look at but also made them a part of the story.
Recalling her long association with Ajay Devgan, Ranju said, 'Working with Ajay sir has always been special for me. We worked together in films like 'Tanhaji', 'Total Dhamaal' and 'Helicopter Eela' and got to learn something new every time. He is a very humble and brilliant actor.' Sharing the experience of working with Vaani Kapoor for the first time, Ranju said, 'Vaani is a perfectionist. We shot a song scene in a single take and I was amazed to see her hard work. Ajay sir and Vaani took to the choreography so easily that it was fun to work with them.'
Ranju said that when Panorama Studios called her for this project and talked about two different styles of songs, she immediately agreed. She said, 'Both the songs were completely different from each other. One had the mood of romance and travel while the other was full of celebration and deep emotions. This was a great opportunity for me.' This hard work of Ranju is clearly visible in the songs of 'Raid 2'.
