In 2000, two rappers named Honey Singh and Badshah decided to make a song together. This song later became controversial. The Delhi High Court has ordered that this controversial song be taken down from all digital platforms.

Honey Singh and Badshah formed a group named Mafia Mundeer in 2000. They wrote songs together. They made many songs together, which became popular. During this time, they made a song that had very vulgar and obscene lyrics. This song faced many objections. The case went to court. The court has now ordered that this song be taken down from all digital platforms.

Justice Purushendra Kaurav stated that the song's lyrics are extremely vulgar, obscene, and derogatory towards women. No civilized society can allow such content to remain on digital platforms.

The Hindu Shakti Dal filed a petition in court regarding Honey Singh and Badshah's old and controversial song. While hearing the petition, the court also listened to the song. After listening to the song, the court stated that this was one of the very few cases that deeply shook the court's conscience. According to the court, the song's lyrics are derogatory to women and lack any artistic or social value. Therefore, such a song should not be available on any digital platform.

The petition argued that Honey Singh had sung some lines of the controversial song during a recent concert, confirming his sung it.

The court therefore directed Honey Singh and Badshah to immediately remove the URL of the song from their social media handles, music platforms, sharing platforms, and online platforms. Additionally, anyone claiming any rights to the song should also remove it.

Issuing notice to the singers, the court directed that the URL containing the song be blocked immediately. The next hearing in the case will be held on May 7th.
