It's worth noting that the film was officially announced on Sharvari's birthday in June. Recalling that moment, she expressed her excitement, calling it "the best birthday ever." She explained that working with Imtiaz Ali had been a long-held dream of hers. She wrote in a post, "Ever since I dreamed of becoming an actress, I've wanted to work under your direction."

Sharvari Wagh made her Bollywood debut with the 2021 film "Bunty Aur Babli 2," which also starred Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, and Siddhant Chaturvedi. The film received mixed reviews, with Sharvari Wagh's performance receiving high praise.
