Amar Kaushik’s Mahavatar to See Vicky Kaushal in Never-Seen Avatar

Vicky Kaushal is currently busy working on a new film titled Love and War by director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Following this, the actor will soon begin preparations for what is going to be one of the most ambitious roles in his career. According to reports, Vicky is prepping up for his upcoming mythological movie, Mahavatar, set to go on floors in June 2026.

According to Pinkvilla, Vicky has reportedly set aside a total of 18 months for this project. Vicky has agreed to a rigorous six-month training program. This includes physical transformation and acting workshops designed specifically for the film.

Preparation is also reported to include understanding the psychological and emotional aspects of the character. Shooting for the film is scheduled to begin in January 2027 and will last for a full year and conclude in December 2027. During this time, Vicky has decided to focus solely on "Mahavatar" and abstain from any other professional work to maintain consistency with the character.

According to reports, Vicky considers "Mahavatar" a very special project of his life. He wants to immerse himself completely in it, which is why he has consciously decided not to engage in any other work during the shooting.

In 2024, Vicky Kaushal announced the project and shared the first look of "Mahavatar." The look was well-received by audiences. Sharing the look, the actor wrote, "Dinesh Vijan brings the story of the eternal warrior of Dharma to the screen!"
