Ranbir Kapoor: The actor said that he got upset with this thing when it reached his parents and they started having problems with it. The actor said, "My parents used to open the newspaper and get upset after reading it, so I had a problem with that thing."
Ranbir Kapoor recently spoke openly about dating two successful actresses in a podcast with Nikhil Kamath. He said that dating these actresses became a big part of his public identity. Apart from this, Ranbir also talked about the 'cheating' allegations against him, explaining how the tags of 'playboy' and 'cheater' affected him personally. Let's know what the actor has said.
Talking about his love life, Ranbir said, “When I started out, I was always seen as a playboy who only dated actresses. I was in NYC for three years and nine months from 2000 to 2003. I didn't date a single girl. I was always a lover. So, when I left for New York, I made myself believe that I had my first girlfriend in school, even though I wasn't with her. I made myself believe that she was the love of my life and now it's over, let's just focus on work.”
Ranbir further added, “I dated two very successful actresses and that just became my identity that I am a playboy. I was given the tag of a cheater for a very large part of my life. I don't care about it because it's not completely true. People don't know the whole story and I would never talk about someone like that publicly because it's a very personal thing. But, if it makes that person happy, then I don't have any problem with that person."
The actor said that he started having problems with this thing when it reached his parents and they started having problems with it. The actor said, "My parents used to open the newspaper and get upset after reading it, so I had a problem with that thing. Although I don't think they had any problem after reading it, I used to feel that way. Later I felt that people accepted me. In such a situation, they can say good or bad things about me."
